South Grand Prairie got themselves on the board against Grand Prairie on Tuesday, but Grand Prairie never followed suit. They blew past the Gophers 11-0. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Daylon Brooks and Isaac Rios did most of the damage at the plate: Brooks went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Rios scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Rios has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Angel Arpero, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

South Grand Prairie was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grand Prairie only posted a batting average of .050.

South Grand Prairie moved to 11-6-2 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Grand Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

South Grand Prairie will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Gophers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
