Ingram Moore and Florence are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ingram Moore is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
Last Friday, Ingram Moore made easy work of Llano and carried off a 13-1 victory. Considering the Warriors have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Tyler Langbein spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits.

On the hitting side, Logan Spalding was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maverick Delgado, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Ingram Moore always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Llano only posted an OBP of .154.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Florence's offense. They lost 7-0 to Blanco on Friday.
Ingram Moore's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Florence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11-1 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ingram Moore has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Florence struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Ingram Moore beat Florence 9-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Buffaloes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
