Roosevelt found success last week, but it has a real challenge ahead. It and National Collegiate Prep face off this Saturday at 3:30 PM to determine whose season will come to a close. Roosevelt is currently on a eight-game winning streak and looking to extend its dominance.
Roosevelt kept its home record unblemished after another positive outing on its own turf. It won a game last week that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Bell 13 - 12. The outcome was a definite jolt of excitement for Roosevelt after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close. As for National Collegiate Prep, it got a somewhat close 12 - 6 victory over KIPP College Prep last week.
Their wins bumped Roosevelt to 10-2 and National Collegiate Prep to 13-0. While both teams are coming off of wins, only one will triumph this week. We'll find out soon enough who that will be.
