Burbank put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Roma Gladiators 19-2.

Gianina Valdez and Leah Guerrero did most of the damage at the plate: Valdez scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Guerrero scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, Valdez also racked up three RBI, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Giselle Garcia, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Burbank always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Roma only posted an OBP of .308.

Burbank's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Roma, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Burbank will host Jay at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Jay's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Burbank's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Roma, they will be playing at home against Highlands at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
