Hudson dropped their record down to 5-3 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-2 to the Clinton Gaels. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered since May 11, 2024.

Hudson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caelen O'Brien, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and two RBI. Owen Nanartowich also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

As for Clinton, their record is now 5-3. The result was nothing new for the Gaels, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

On Clinton's side, Brian Silvester made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Silvester has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Liam Nelligan was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Caleb Coyne, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hudson will take on Nashoba Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clinton, they will square off against Maynard at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
