The Upper Scioto Valley Rams will head out on the road to face off against the North Baltimore Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Upper Scioto Valley will be strutting in after a victory while North Baltimore will be coming in after a loss.
Upper Scioto Valley came into Thursday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Hardin Northern by a score of 43-35 on Thursday.
Upper Scioto Valley found their leader in underclassman Raegan Castle, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Castle has scored all season. Layla Hunsicker was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, North Baltimore's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 17th straight defeat. They were dealt a 50-21 loss at the hands of Northwood. North Baltimore was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-5.
Upper Scioto Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for North Baltimore, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Upper Scioto Valley was able to grind out a solid win over North Baltimore in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, winning 43-36. Will Upper Scioto Valley repeat their success, or does North Baltimore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
