The Desert Christian Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 76-29 loss at the hands of The Palmdale Aerospace Academy. Desert Christian has not had much luck with the Griffins recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austin Ashley, who scored five points. The team also got some help courtesy of John Helton, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Desert Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as The Palmdale Aerospace Academy racked up 15 assists.
David Romero continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Romero hasn't dropped below 16 points for four straight games. Melvyn Bob was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Desert Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.
