The Suitland Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Wise, falling 71-43. Suitland lost against Wise in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 62-59 score last time.
Wise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rasan Golatt, who scored 18 points. Cayden Hargrove was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Suitland's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-3. As for Wise, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Suitland will head out on the road to face off against Dunbar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wise will be home for the holidays to greet Laurel at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
