Oak Forest got themselves on the board against Thornton Fractional South on Tuesday, but Thornton Fractional South never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Red Wolves with a sharp 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hayden Noha looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Oak Forest got a massive performance out of Justin Gibbs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Evan Gamboa also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Oak Forest kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Oak Forest and bumps their season record up to 12-8-1. The Argonauts have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.71 runs per game on average), something the Red Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
