Jeremy Spratling Turns in Season-Best Effort
Jeremy Spratling produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Helena to the win on Friday. Spratling rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.
The victory (which was Helena's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Spratling and Helena will head out on the road to square off against Calera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Spain Park Wins 13th-Straight Thanks to Corey Barber
Spain Park picked up their 13th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Corey Barber. Barber was unstoppable, picking up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 69 yards.
Spain Park pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Jaguars takes on Chilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Helena was led to victory by Domynyck Santiago, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Santiago rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
For the year, Santiago has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 38 rushing yards per game.

Spain Park picked up their 13th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brock Bradley.
