The Pleasanton Eagles lost against the Marion Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pleasanton fell just short of Marion by a score of 35-33. Pleasanton has struggled against Marion recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Brianna Hunter was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Marion's points. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Parsons, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
Pleasanton bumped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Marion, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Pleasanton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hondo at 12:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Marion, they will be playing at home against Falls City at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
