The Kalida Wildcats will stay at home for another game and welcome the Crestview Knights at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Kalida's 19-5 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 46-45 to Antwerp. While losing is never fun, Kalida can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 764th, while Antwerp is ranked 157th).
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Crestview, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-44 loss to St. John's on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crestview has scored all season.
Kalida's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Kalida came up short against Crestview when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 44-40. Will Kalida have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
