As a matter of fact, Pike Liberal Arts put up the most points they have all season on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over Goshen. The Patriots have beaten the Eagles the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

In other batting news, Julianne Meyer was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Smith, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Pike Liberal Arts always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .824. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Trinity Presbyterian made easy work of Montgomery Academy on Thursday and carried off a 17-2 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by eight runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Micaiah Shelton, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Marley Sharpless was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Pike Liberal Arts' record is now 5-6. As for Trinity Presbyterian, their record is now 4-6.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pike Liberal Arts hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344.
