Antioch barely beat Wauconda the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Sequoits claimed a resounding 34-6 win over the Bulldogs. The Sequoits might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Abbigail Fuesting produced another solid effort rushing for 202 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also picking up 84 receiving yards and one score. Her rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked her fourth straight game with at least 155 rushing yards. Tanner Ludwig was another key player, throwing for 347 yards and three TDs while completing 72.7% of her passes.

Antioch's run defense was locked in: Wauconda could only muster 3.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Rylee Dunlavy for the heroic effort on defense: she. Antioch didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 15.7.

Antioch's defense also made the game a nightmare for Zithlaly Duran, racking up seven sacks. Leading the way was Dunlavy with six. Sofia Manjarres was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

Antioch is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.3 points over those games. As for Wauconda, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Antioch wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 66-0 win against Warren Township on the 26th. As for Wauconda, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 33-14 victory against Harvard on the 26th.
