While St. Stephens didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 55-41 victory over the Bunker Hill Bears on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-53 back in November.

St. Stephens can attribute much of their success to Alan Wilson, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. Isaac Long was another key player, putting up ten points.

St. Stephens pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Bunker Hill, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, St. Stephens will head out to take on Bandys at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Bunker Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hickory at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Bears their first taste of in-conference action this season.
