It was a good run, but the Greenbrier Bobcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Station Camp.
Greenbrier's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mack Scurlock, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Carson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds.
Greenbrier's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8. As for Station Camp, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenbrier will face off against Macon County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Macon County is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Station Camp, they will head out on the road to face off against Portland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
