Middle Creek took a hard 56-40 fall against Green Level on Friday. Middle Creek has not had much luck with Green Level recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Middle Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Ihle, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yasir Hall, who scored 13 points.
Middle Creek bumped their record down to 8-7 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Green Level, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.
Middle Creek will head out on the road to take on Panther Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Panther Creek has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 371 points over their last five matchups. As for Green Level, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Apex Friendship at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apex Friendship will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Green Level is ranked 19th).
