Cherokee Trail came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Regis Jesuit, but Clayton Kollmeyer wouldn't allow it. The Regis Jesuit Raiders had just enough and edged out the Cherokee Trail Cougars 3-2 which was due in part to Kollmeyer, who had 25 digs and four assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in digs.

Regis Jesuit had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 16-25, 25-20, 25-23, 15-9.

The victory made it two in a row for Regis Jesuit and bumps their season record up to 4-3. As for Cherokee Trail, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Regis Jesuit will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mountain Vista at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. The last four games Regis Jesuit has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cherokee Trail, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lincoln on the 15th.
