The UIC College Prep Firecats will head out on the road to face off against the Comer Catamounts at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of

Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Comer, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were dealt a 92-16 defeat at the hands of Butler on Tuesday. Comer has not had much luck with Butler recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, Comer saw an underclassman step up: Markeeta Hudson scored 9 points.
UIC College Prep's victory bumped their season record to 1-4 while Johnson's defeat dropped theirs to 4-2.
Thursday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy game: UIC College Prep haven't given up the ball easily this season, having only averaged 0 turnovers per game. It's a different story for Comer, though, as they've been averaging 4.8 per game. Given UIC College Prep's sizeable advantage in that area, Comer will need to find a way to close that gap. UIC College Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Comer in their previous matchup back in January, winning 26-19.
