Two missed two-point conversions cost
Rosemont (Sacramento, Calif.) as they fell 43-40 to
Sacramento (Calif.).
The Dragons led 27-21 at halftime, but the Wolverine recaptured the lead on a
DeShawn Allen touchdown run with 11:00 left in the fourth. Sacramento finally took the lead for the win when
Caden Voges threw a touchdown to
Kyree Stephens with 8:00 remaining in the fourth quarter.
SHS saw its 6-point halftime lead fall to two entering the fourth.
Rosemont came in giving up 17.3 points per game this season. RHS had a hard time against Sacramento's offense, who entered the game scoring 47.3 points per game.
Sacramento also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 41-20.
The win brought Sacramento's winning streak to four games.
In a Metropolitan game next week Rosemont (7-2) takes on Johnson, and Sacramento (7-2) will go up against McClatchy also in a Metropolitan game.
