  Rylee Blades made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Remy Hicks, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Illinois Valley Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with  an   11-7  victory over Limestone  on Tuesday.
 Emersyn Fleming spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and five unearned) runs on nine hits.
 At the plate, Illinois Valley Central got a big performance out of  Abby Bazyn, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5.  Morgan Ellington was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
