There's no place like home for Mounds View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Woodbury Royals on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Royals back in April, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

Mounds View is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Woodbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9.

Coming up, Mounds View will head out on the road to square off against White Bear Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
