Emily August-Faith King was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Lexi Vaughan Howerton was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Caylen Jackson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
