Winning may never get old, but Riverfield Country Day sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Riverfield Country Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braedon Clinton, who scored 19 points along with eight assists and two steals. Clinton has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kolby Brent, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Riverfield Country Day has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Dewey, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Riverfield Country Day won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Liberty at 7:55 p.m. on January 20th. Liberty knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Riverfield Country Day likes a good challenge. As for Dewey, Dewey and Cleveland will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
