The Farwell Steers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Olton 42-21. Considering Farwell has won six games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Farwell has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Olton, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4.
Farwell will take on Sonora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
