The Faith Christian Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 59-41 to Elliot Christian.
Elliot Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremy Nielsen out in front who scored 25 points along with 6 rebounds. The matchup was Nielsen's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Gaither, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Elliot Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Faith Christian will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Vanguard College Prep at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Vanguard College Prep comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Elliot Christian, they will face off against Stockton Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Stockton Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
