Shiloh Hills Christian has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Trinity Prep Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Shiloh Hills Christian was the victim of a tough 71-47 loss at the hands of the Knights. Shiloh Hills Christian was down 57-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Trinity Prep entered their tilt with the Conquerors with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Trinity Prep strolled past the Conquerors with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 82-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ace Stevens, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Stevens is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Harvey, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Shiloh Hills Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Trinity Prep, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12.
Shiloh Hills Christian came up short against the Lions in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 68-61. Can Shiloh Hills Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
