BASIS Flagstaff entered their tilt with Grand Canyon on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Grand Canyon Phantoms 79-56. The Yetis have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season.

Leading BASIS Flagstaff to victory were Lincoln Bradford and Rowdy McGourin. Bradford dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 boards, while McGourin went 12 of 20 on his way to 29 points and three steals. McGourin is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Quiroz, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

BASIS Flagstaff's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Grand Canyon, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

BASIS Flagstaff will venture away from home to take on Fredonia at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in BASIS Flagstaff's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Grand Canyon, they will be taking part in a tournament against Chinle at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
