Chelmsford faced Bishop Feehan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Shamrocks. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Evan Kobrenski, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Matthew Stuart was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Chelmsford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop Feehan only posted an OBP of .333.

Chelmsford is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Bishop Feehan, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-5.
