The Miller Cardinals stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 69-36 win over Lockwood at home. The win was nothing new for Miller as they're now sitting on three straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miller to victory, but perhaps none more so than Loghann Leivan, who scored 23 points along with six assists. Ashlynn Helton was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with three steals.
Miller's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Lockwood, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6-1.
Miller will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stockton at 5:30 p.m. Miller knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Stockton likes a good challenge. As for Lockwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Halfway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
