Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Triad's Third in Last Four Outings + How To Watch

Triad won the last time they faced Granite City and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Triad never let Granite City on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 29-27.

Allison Adomite paced Triad's offense, picking up 14 kills. Adomite got some help from Heidi Boehning and her 16 assists.

Granite City's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lilly Booker, who had seven digs and three aces. Booker is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubree Briggs, who had eight digs and two aces.

Triad has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Granite City, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Coming up, Triad will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Springfield at 6:15 p.m. on the 11th. As for Granite City, they will venture away from home to face off against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
