Mia Milanes and Kaelyn Malloy certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Milanes scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Malloy scored seven points along with 13 rebounds. That was a full 38.9% of Classical Prep's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Academy at the Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Classical Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

As for Classical Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gulf at 6:30 p.m. Gulf is coming into the match with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning Classical Prep will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
