The Delta Rabbits will square off against the Emery Spartans at 2:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Delta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4  runs per game  this season.
Delta fought the good fight in their extra-innings  matchup against North Sanpete  on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took  a  9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. Rabbits fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Hawks since  on Tuesday.
 Dax Bliss was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Hunt Robinson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kyler Davies, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
Meanwhile, Emery didn't have quite enough to beat Carbon on Tuesday and fell  4-3.
 Emery saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hayden Christiansen, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Delta has  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record  this season. As for Emery, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Delta has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.3  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Emery struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 3.1  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
