Edison has gone a perfect 10-0 against Franklin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will host the Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Edison has three straight victories, Franklin has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Thursday, Edison got the win against McNair by a conclusive 19-2. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.
Haylie Berdot and Audriana Leiva made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Berdot pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Meanwhile, Leiva pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. At bat, Berdot went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Leiva went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jamaiya Wilson was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Angeleya Miranda, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
Edison kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive matchups.
Tokay hit Franklin with a six-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Yellowjackets lost 14-4 to the Tigers.
Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Edison, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
Edison got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Franklin by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
