Valley Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Leetonia Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Valley Christian had to settle for a 54-51 defeat against Columbiana. Valley Christian has struggled against Columbiana recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Leetonia had to suffer through a rough 72-37 loss at the hands of David Anderson. While losing is never fun, Leetonia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 655th, while David Anderson is ranked 50th).
