Kaleb DeGraffenried was a standout: he scored five runs while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances. Those five runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Ward, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Spanish Fork's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nixon Warren, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. Xavier Amonett also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Salem Hills' win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Spanish Fork, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-11.
