Archbishop Chapelle got themselves on the board against Edna Karr on Thursday, but Edna Karr never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Edna Karr Cougars with a sharp 16-0 victory. Considering the Chipmunks have won four games by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Archbishop Chapelle is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. Edna Karr is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Chapelle will challenge Archbishop Hannan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edna Karr, they will take on John Ehret at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
