Northwest came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Quince Orchard Cougars as they made off with a 17-3 victory. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Quince Orchard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 20-0 victory against Kennedy on the 25th. Hopefully Quince Orchard paid attention to the Jaguars' game: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Jaguars on Monday.
