Navaeh Frank was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Chattanooga Central got a massive performance out of Emma Lakin, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Kennedi Sabb was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
The victory snapped Chattanooga Central's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-8 record. As for Howard Tech, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7.
