Tatum is 9-0 against the Tigers since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Tatum Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Arp Tigers at 6:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tatum has 12 straight wins, the Tigers have three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Tatum can now show off 21 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They claimed a resounding 89-56 victory over West Rusk on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-19.
Meanwhile, Arp took a serious blow against the Bulldogs on Friday, falling 56-18. Arp has struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Tatum pushed their record up to 26-1 with that win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Arp, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-24 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Tatum against the Tigers when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 80-17 win. Does Tatum have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
