 In other batting news, Lansing got a  massive  performance out of  Marissa Nolan, who  scored four  runs and  stole five bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Nolan is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last nine games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Isabelle Gustafson, who  went 2-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Spencer-Van Etten entered their  game against Watkins Glen  on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Spencer-Van Etten lost  9-3 to Watkins Glen.
 Lansing's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Spencer-Van Etten, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
