Jackson has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Mourning Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Monday, Jackson came up short against Hialeah Gardens and fell 44-35.
The losing side was boosted by Amariss Santana, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Mourning strolled past Miami Beach with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 52-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mourning.
Jackson has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Mourning, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.
Jackson strolled past Mourning in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 by a score of 45-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jackson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
