They strolled past Harmony Area with points to spare, taking the game 62-45. Moshannon Valley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Harmony Area lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jack Bracken. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That was a full 53.3% of Harmony Area's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Brady Hagens was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Moshannon Valley's victory ended a 17-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-13. As for Harmony Area, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Moshannon Valley will be playing at home against the Hornets at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Averaging 74.47 points so far this season, Juniata Valley's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so the Black Knights/Damsels better be ready for a challenge.
