Sheldon won the last time they faced South Eugene and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Irish came out on top against the Axe by a score of 10-6.

The team relied heavily on Jazmin Gallegos, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillian Geddis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Sheldon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Sheldon's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for South Eugene, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Coming up, Sheldon will host Grants Pass at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Eugene, they will venture away from home to challenge North Salem on Friday.
