The Jasper Vikings waltzed into their matchup on Monday with 15 straight wins but they left with 16. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hayden 76-16 at home. Jasper has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 23 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jasper to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mia Hollingsworth, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Hollingsworth hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. Another player making a difference was Missy Odom, who scored 14 points.
Jasper's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.9 points. As for Hayden, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.
Jasper will be playing at home against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ramsay will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Vikings are ranked 11th). Hayden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
