The Fox Creek Predators suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Strom Thurmond on the road and fell 60-19. Fox Creek has not had much luck with Strom Thurmond recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Predators players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sofia Kryshtalowych, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Kryshtalowych is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Fox Creek struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Strom Thurmond pulled down 17 offensive rebounds.
Katlyn Chinn was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with seven steals for Strom Thurmond. Chinn hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Sunasia Saxon, who scored 18 points.
Fox Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Strom Thurmond, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Strom Thurmond will take on Batesburg-Leesville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Batesburg-Leesville comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
