The Rock Hill Redmen will head out on the road to square off against Grace Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rock Hill has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Rock Hill, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-42 loss to Chesapeake. While losing is never fun, Rock Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 659th, while Chesapeake is ranked 244th).
Grace Christian suffered their biggest loss since December 4, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 77-46 defeat at the hands of Wayne. Grace Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rock Hill's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-10. As for Grace Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Rock Hill against Grace Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 86-39 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rock Hill since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
