 Meanwhile, Lowry was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They had to suffer through a   35-7 loss at the hands of Truckee. The Buckaroos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  21-0.
 Fernley's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Lowry, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
 Fernley was able to grind out a solid  win over Lowry in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023, winning  21-14. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Lowry's  Jesse Jeronimo, who rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 49 receiving yards. Now that he won't be playing  on Friday, will it be easier for Fernley to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
