The Kofa Kings won the last time they faced the Washington Rams, and things went their way on Friday too. Kofa took down Washington 54-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kofa.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kofa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Calvin Barber, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayven Wynn, who scored 17 points.
Kofa's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kofa has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Copper Canyon and Kofa are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Washington, they will be playing at home against San Luis at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. San Luis is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
