Connor Petrus Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Elyria Catholic's Connor Petrus, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Petrus picked up 108 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Elyria Catholic's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers takes on Lake Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Charley Levak and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Charley Levak. Fairless had no answer to Levak as he threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
On the year, Levak has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 96.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 39.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 61.33 rushing yards.

Joey Kopec Makes It Two for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy
Another Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy player making an appearance on this list is Joey Kopec. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Roderick Love Makes It Two for Padua Franciscan
Keeping Shaw-Mason company is Roderick Love, a fellow Padua Franciscan player. He picked up 21 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 39 yards.
If the past is any indication, Love could be in store for another big game when he takes on Holy Name on Friday. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Love saw the Green Wave), he rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
